James Gehrke

With nearly 20 years of banking experience, James began his career at Machias Savings Bank, where he held several roles before transitioning into commercial lending. As Senior Vice President and Regional Market Manager for Central Maine, James leads a team of business bankers, fostering new and existing relationships to help businesses succeed. Recently, he managed a $150 million portfolio with a large Maine community bank before returning to lead the Central Maine market team.

James is a graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute and Maine Leadership Institute and remains actively involved in his community. He serves on the boards of the Brewer Economic Development Corporation and Partners for Peace, where he also holds the role of Treasurer and serves on the Finance and Executive Committees.

James studied Business and Economics at the University of Maine at Farmington and earned his MBS in Business Management from Husson University.
